LOVE SERENADE

It's Saturaday. My favorite day of the week. And what did I do with it? Oh, shame. It is not a pretty picture. Watched Federer beat Hewitt like a drum. He makes it look so easy. Then saw some of the Clijster massacre of Pierce. Women's tennis is just not very competitive. 2 sets (6-3, 6-1)in a little over an hour for the championship. How can you compare that to the 5 setter nail bitter Aggasi had to pull out just to get to the finals. Equal prize money? Let's stop being so PC about this. Men play twice as hard they should get twice as much $.

To salvage the day, I watched one of my favorite movies from our friends down south Love Serenade; It's so inspired in its' quirkiness; it seems forced at times but brilliant nevertheless. Oh yeah for all you Lord of the Ring fans, you get to see a completely different side of Miranda Otto, aka Eowyn here. Where is that Oscar? This woman's got talent.

Oh, yeah, have to mention that I also planted an Avacado tree in the backyard today. Ashamed to say this is the second planting. I hope this one takes; I might be abusing the 1 year guarantee if I went back to Home Depote a third time.

Also went to dinner at this Chinese restaurant with Miyuki and Mom and Mom's boyfriend. Had this delicious fatty pork stewed in this red bean paste. Yummmm, going straight to my thighs.
