On a side note; what is it with beautiful women? Why do they get away with so much? A series of recent incidences have just hammered this point home with relentless persistance.
A couple of years ago they brought out research results showing even infants preferred to look at pictures of Cindy Crawford rather than their own homely moms; I guess it is just hardwired into us. Nevertheless, it is frustrating to see the Pavlovian responses so predictably displayed everytime without fail.
I of course include myself in the population cursed with this affliction. Oh, well, I'm sure once the libido wanes after the age of 65, things will look different. However, I can't help but notice all those news stories about lascivious old pervs prowling for a glimpse of that tender young thang! Oh, someone just shoot me and get it over with!

But then I would miss endless hilarities such as this:

昨日はバレンタインDAYだったので、相棒が紫のバラの花とチョコをプレゼント
してくれた。
アメリカでは男性がプレゼントをしてくれる日のようだ。ラッキー！
そう言えば、昼間男性が花を持って歩いている姿を見かけたなあ。

give&takeで、お返しに夕食は私がお寿司をおごったのだ。
このおもしろい建物は電気製品専門店（コジマ、ヤマダのような）である。
場所によって建物のデコレーションが違う、例えばUFOだったり。
ショッピングモールよりこっちのほうが見て歩いておもしろい。
今週末たぶんこの映画を見に行くだろう。”Eight Below”
この予告を見たときから”おやっ？”っと思っていた。なぜなら”南極物語”に酷似だったから。
きっとディズニー映画なので期待に応えてくれるだろう。タロとジロ、懐かしいなあ。

Laikaもこの犬君たちを少しは見習ってくれるといいんだけれど。
んー、まず目つきから違うんだなあ。

RENEWAL FRONT-GLASS

不思議なことに朝出かけるときに車のフロントガラスにひびが入っているのに気がついた。
回りには何も落ちていなかったし、バンパー部分も異常なし。ひびも段差はないし、
外部からではなく内部からの亀裂のようだった。

早速修理工場に持って行き調べてもらった。
人的なものなら保障がきかないようだが、今回のは車に問題ありと判断してくれて
＄０でなおしてくれた。

そのため修理アポ日は久々にバスに乗らねばならなかった。
初乗り＄1.25、ガタガタ揺れる、やっぱり自分の車がいいなあ。


最近、動物性タンパク質ばかり摂っていたので今晩はお魚＆蟹に決定。
